MS Storage after a careful selection process, were successful in providing West Ham United with a complete storage design and layout scheme for their retail warehouse area and shop at the Olympic Stadium in East London.

The project involved designing security caged stock areas and locations, general pallet racking storage, SKU location shelving for smaller items, heavy duty static shelving for boxes and general storage, hanging racks for shirts and tops, a mezzanine floor area to increase the storage capacity and individual work benches for retail staff to work from.

The layouts were designed with the working of the warehouse in mind and the flow of materials in and out on busy match days. The complete installation took over 4 weeks to install within a tight time window to ensure the retail section was ready for the opening date of the new stadium.

By working closely with onsite staff, the project was completed on time and within budget ready for kick off!

After the success of the initial installation (2400bays of static and mobile shelving) , MS Storage were approached again by Plymouth NHS Trust to add additional storage to a new extension on site. To achieve the required capacity a mezzanine floor was installed along with 762 bays of static and mobile shelving.

The logistics of the installation were paramount to the smooth running of the whole hospital project. Working alongside a main contractor we were able to meet the client’s requirements in line with all DDA and Building regulations to the agreed costs and time frames.
