The creation, development and launch of this bespoke website follows MS Group’s appointment as an Authorised Herman Miller Dealer.

Exciting changes announced by MS Group.

MS Storage, the family-run, Cheshire-based supplier of commercial furniture and storage equipment, has rebranded as MS Group. This change will take the group through to the next stage of its development as it continues to grow its product portfolio, expand into new markets and win new national supply contracts to add to its existing client base which includes Crown Commercial, NHS Supply Chain and NHS Shared Business Services.

The new Group’s customer requirements could range from one chair for a home office right through to a £1m+ hospital refurbishment projects. So, under the umbrella of the MS Group, the company will operate multiple brands to give this diverse range of clients a more bespoke, tailored service.

MS Storage Equipment will continue to build on over forty years of success and cement its position as the UK’s leading name in the supply and installation of storage products.

MS Storage Launches Innovative Bedside Locker

CLARITY, the shining star in MS Storage’s range of hospital furniture, is set to take the public healthcare sector by storm. Over the last 8 years, MS Storage has worked in partnership with the NHS as an approved Pasa supplier and has recently been awarded the prestigious NHS Supply Chain contract for a further 3 years.

The new CLARITY bedside locker has been specifically developed and designed to meet the stringent demands of modern day hospital environments. Howard Simpkin, MD of MS Storage explained the science behind Clarity’s ground-breaking effectiveness:

“We wanted to create a patient bedside locker that was not only functional but also supported the efforts of the NHS to significantly reduce the spread of MRSA and other microbial contamination.”
Simpkin went on to tell us:

“The reduced risk of infection lies in the locker’s unique antibacterial finish. BioCote is a silver oxide antibacterial coating which helps to combat the spread of diseases, such as MRSA.”

The CLARITY bedside locker comprises three individual drawer units and has rounded, rather than sharp edges, to facilitate easier cleaning and minimise staff and patient injury. The secure top drawer is designed to be used for the storage of patient medication. The middle drawer serves as a personal storage area, whilst the bottom drawer features adjustable storage provision for a washbowl at the rear of the compartment. The unit also features a highly visible raised towel rail at the rear of the unit, which serves as a visible prompt designed to encourage regular cleaning.

Designed to comply to BS 2881:1989 security Level 1, CLARITY offers a bedside unit that is both easy to decontaminate on a regular basis, whilst presenting an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The draw fronts and top are manufactured from a melamine faced fibre board, whist the drawer interior and sides are constructed from sheet steel. The entire surface area of the unit is sealed with BioCote, which helps combat the growth of micro-organisms within the ward environment.

MS Storage Equipment is pleased to announce that they have been named as a supplier on the highly prestigious Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework for the supply, delivery and installation of furniture and associated services (RM3812) for High Density Steel Storage.

As a leading company in the field of specialist storage equipment, the company has already earned a strong reputation by over-delivering on successful contracts with large UK bodies such as the MOD, NHS and Police Service. The Crown Commercial Services framework awarded this month will run until the end of 2019 and will see MS Storage Equipment offer a comprehensive consultation, supply and installation service for static and mobile shelving systems to public sector organisations across the UK.

Mayor of Wirral brings festive cheer to the centre at this year’s switch-on

Wirral Community NHS Foundation Trust welcomed the Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Pat Hackett, to its flagship health centre last week to switch on its Christmas lights, which were kindly donated by Cheshire-based warehousing and workplace furniture specialist MS Storage.

Adlington-based storage specialist MS Storage Equipment has expanded its workforce to support the company’s growth following a strong performance over the last twelve months.

Three new members of staff have joined the sales team to drive trade in a variety of sectors including the NHS, retail and warehousing. Alannah Chandler, Charles Davies and Malcolm Scott bring with them over 40 years’ combined experience in storage and racking solutions.

Over the last twelve months, MS Storage has signed contracts with several high profile clients including Adidas, West Ham Football Club and the Royal College of Art, in addition to completing a number of large-scale NHS projects.

UKLacrosse Gets Kitted Out by MS Storage

The distributor wanted to create a more user friendly and dynamic space to present its products and sporting equipment to customers, who often travel across the country to visit the store.
